Former Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi announced on social media that he will convene a “summit of national cooperation” in Europe regarding the future of Iran in the coming weeks.

Pahlavi has been an outspoken opponent of the Islamic Revolutionary regime that deposed his father, Mohammed Reza Shah, in 1979.

However, in recent years, especially following the return of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to office in early 2023, he has engaged in a public campaign to raise international support for the Iranian resistance, offering to lead a transitional government in the event that the Islamic Republic is overthrown.

“In the coming weeks, I will convene a summit of national cooperation. This gathering will be held in Europe, and invitations are currently being sent out,” Pahlavi posted on Tuesday, along with a video message in Farsi (Persian).

“Here once again, I invite those forces who believe in the three principles of Iran’s territorial integrity, individual freedoms and equality of all citizens, and the separation of religion from government, and who respect the Iranian people's right to choose the form of their future democracy, to participate in this conference,” Pahlavi wrote on 𝕏.

“Our goal is to expand our national cooperation and present a roadmap for a democratic transition and the reconstruction of the country.”

Since the launch of Israel's Operation Rising Lion military campaign, Pahlavi has stepped up public appeals to Iranian resistance members, foreign governments, and even regime officials and commanders, urging support for the Iranian people’s push for regime change.

In the early hours of the operation, just after Israel announced the bombing of nuclear sites across Iran, Pahlavi issued a call in Persian to the Iranian people and the conventional military to rise up against Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s regime.

“Ali Khamenei, the reckless leader of the anti-Iranian Islamic Republic regime, has once again involved our country in a war,” Pahlavi wrote in a Persian post on 𝕏. “This is not Iran’s war, nor the war of the Iranian people. It is Khamenei’s war and the Islamic Republic’s war.”

On June 17, in the middle of the Israel-Iran war, Pahlavi released the following statement: “The Islamic Republic has reached its end and is in the process of collapsing.”

Pahlavi said he had “a plan for Iran’s future and its flourishing.”

“We are prepared for the first hundred days after the fall, for the transitional period, and for the establishment of a national and democratic government – by the Iranian people and for the Iranian people,” Pahlavi stated and called on “military, law enforcement, security forces, and state employees” to stand with the people against the regime.

Pahlavi also announced the launch of a secure channel for members of the Islamic Republic’s government or security services to defect and support his proposed transitional government.

Earlier this week, Pahlavi met with former and current members of the British government and parliament, urging the United Kingdom to promote regime change in Iran.

Pahlavi called on U.S. President Donald Trump to support regime change in Iran, saying it would secure his legacy as “one of history’s great peacemakers.”

Speaking with Fox News, Pahlavi said, “The way to end the chaos and destruction is to help the people of Iran to end this regime and take their country back. He can leave a lasting legacy and be one of history’s great peacemakers if this happens. I am ready to be his partner in this process and this mission and lead our nation into a peaceful, democratic future once again aligned with regional stability and American interests."

"Working with President Trump, we can bring down the world’s most dangerous regime – and fill the void not with chaos, but with strength, order, and freedom.”
