Rubio says attempted attack on UK air base points to foreign involvement
In an interview with Fox News on Monday, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio addressed the arrest of five suspects in the UK over suspicion of attempting to bomb RAF Fairford, a British air base used by U.S. forces.
Referring to the arrests and allegations of Iranian involvement, Rubio said Iran has "openly threatened to attack American interests globally," adding, "there will be repercussions for that if it ever were to happen or even attempted.
