PM Netanyahu to speak at UN, says ‘there will also be surprises’
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is slated to land in the United States on Thursday morning and will be speaking at the UN General Assembly at 2 p.m.
Netanyahu will spend only a few hours in New York, will not stay overnight and will depart for Israel that evening. In an unprecendented move, Netanyahu will not take journalists with him on the plane.
He declared that he "will fight against the lies, I will fight for the truth, for our soldiers, for our country,” he promised. And with regard to his speech, he said, “There will also be surprises.”
