Iranian media says no IRGC members in southern Lebanon tunnels captured by IDF
Several Iranian media outlets reported that "claims that the Revolutionary Guards were trapped in tunnels in the Ali Taher area in southern Lebanon are false.”
According to reports from Iranian news agencies Mehr and Fars, there were 48 Hezbollah operatives in the tunnels attacked by Israel, eight of whom were killed.
The news agencies, which are affiliated with the Iranian regime, said there were no Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps members in the tunnels.
The reports come after Israel announced the destruction of the underground tunnel infrastructure on the Ali Taher ridge last week.
