IDF strikes Hamas infrastructure in Gaza after explosive device detonates near Yellow Line
The IDF said an engineering vehicle hit an explosive device during routine operations near the Yellow Line in the Gaza Strip. No Israeli troops were injured.
The military described the incident as a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire agreement by Hamas and said it responded by striking Hamas infrastructure used to advance attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.
The IDF said Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue acting to remove any immediate threats.
