Herzog at Rabin memorial: ‘The national imperative is that his murderer must never be released’

President Isaac Herzog declared Thursday that former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s assassin must never be released from prison.
Herzog made the remarks at the “Candle for Yitzhak” ceremony at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem, marking the start of events commemorating the 31st anniversary of Rabin’s assassination.
