Hamas sniper killed in southern Gaza airstrike
A Hamas sniper was killed in an Israeli airstrike yesterday in southern Gaza, the IDF reports.
The IDF said that Adi Adil Abd al-Aaser, a sniper who had “advanced terror plots against IDF forces and acted to rebuild the organization's capabilities,” was killed to remove the threat to its soldiers.
Despite the ceasefire enacted in October 2025, the IDF has continued to strike Hamas terrorists involved in the October 7, 2023, attacks, and operatives it deems to be actively working to advance attacks against its soldiers stationed along the Yellow Line.
