Another suspected Ebola case in Israel
Israel’s Health Ministry reported a new suspected case of Ebola involving a young man who developed a fever after returning from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The ministry stressed that the case remains unconfirmed and that no confirmed cases of Ebola have been diagnosed in Israel.
The patient is being treated under isolation protocols for high-risk infectious diseases and was transferred to Sheba Medical Center, one of the designated facilities for handling suspected cases.
Two other people were hospitalized with suspected Ebola infections over the past two months, but both cases were later ruled out.
