Rocket launched from Gaza intercepted by Iron Dome
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intercepted a rocket launched from the Gaza Strip toward the southern Israeli town of Sderot on Wednesday evening.
Rocket warning sirens sounded in the area and several residents reported hearing an explosion.
Videos shared on social media showed an Iron Dome missile interception, which was later confirmed by the IDF.
One woman was lightly injured running to a bomb shelter. There were no further reports of injury.
