'The sun never sets on the British Empire'

'I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you'

Britain, once the very crown of Christendom, civilization, great art and literature, had boasted, “The sun never sets on the British Empire.” At the time that was said, the British empire spread across the globe with pride, from India to Palestine and beyond. Then, in 1947, when the remnant of Jews who survived the horrors of the Nazi Holocaust and concentration camps attempted to escape to what was to become the one Jewish state, where they could defend themselves from the curse of antisemitism, the British buckled under Arab oil pressure and betrayed those Jews, their military stopping them from reaching the Holy Land, and incarcerating them in concentration camps on Cyprus.

It was then that Mahatma Gandhi led a peaceful insurrection that would drive the English from their prized colony of India, shrinking the empire substantially.  Shortly after, another struggle caused the English colonizers to withdraw from their possession of Palestine to let the Arabs and Jews fight it out on their own. Never mind the British papers designating and assuring that land as a homeland for the recently decimated Jews.

This was not a new phenomenon in Britain, where in 1290 that Catholic Christian nation, after burning Jews alive in the synagogue of York, expelled the Jews from their land to send them to their doom in the Spanish inquisition and expulsion. Only a bloody English civil war would bring the devout Protestant Oliver Cromwell to the fore, who would invite the Jews back into Britain. It would take the great Sir Walter Scott to clarify that grim reality and exonerate the innocent Jews in his masterwork, Ivanhoe.

In the mid 20th century much of the formerly Christian continental Europe fell to the Nazi regime and betrayed the Jewish people, which in turn brought the devastation of Europe and its peoples. The people of the biblical God of Israel were slaughtered and driven out, soon to be replaced by the people of another god.

Today, as the Jewish people in Israel are once again fighting for their lives against dark forces of Islamic supremacist terrorism, Britain has decided to cast their lot and take their stand with the latter. This comes at the time that a vacuum of declining Christianity, founded by the Jew they claimed to worship, is creating therein a vacuum to be filled now with its antithesis. The hordes of a people of another god have invaded the island and freely erected their minarets loudly broadcasting the god of Muhammad, causing a havoc that will forever change Britain.

As the rest of European nations also take their stand to betray Israel, so have been sent into their borders the hordes of the Jihad, bringing fear and chaos to their lands, which will forever change the face of European culture.

Today the great British empire has shrunken to its own shores, hoping for the sun to once again arise upon it. That is the way some things work.
