Anti-Israel antisemitism

It doesn't appear that predictions that the old demon of antisemitism would crawl back into the shadows as the gunfire subsides in Gaza has come to pass.

On the contrary, it is flourishing across the globe, right to the university campuses. We don't see any demonstrators carrying flags of Nigeria as Muslims slaughter Christians there, or that of Sudan or Yemen or Ukraine as the killing stacks up.

There were no flotillas sailing in outrage at the half-million dead in the recent Syrian civil war. Only ongoing marches in the streets in massive anti-Israel demonstrations waving Palestinian flags (I wonder who is paying for all those flags, and lunches for the demonstrators shouting "globalize the intifada" and "from the river to the sea" without even knowing which river or sea?).

Nations such as Ireland and England and France and Iceland and Spain, where the spirit of the Inquisition has risen from the dead, and the reliable United Nations, continue to condemn the one minuscule Jewish state. Even many Christians are now declaring that Jews have no biblical right to the Holy Land. Perhaps, if you are Jewish, you should remove the mezuzah from your doorpost. But, no Jews, no news.

It is no coincidence that the phenomenon increases as the successful invasion of Islam increases into Western nations - right up to the absurd election of a Muslim as the New York City mayor.

We are watching as well-funded anti-Israel propaganda fills the empty heads of young America as support for Israel declines there, especially among the Democrats. And synagogue attacks continue and Jews stabbed and accosted in the streets from London to Vietnam because Jews can now defend themselves in their own land  against their openly genocidal neighbors, a nation that was born from the European Holocaust where Jews were unwanted, and now unwanted even in their own ancient homeland.

And yes, anti-Israelism is synonymous with antisemitism.
