Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett spoke this morning with Alan Jope, the CEO of Unilever, parent company of Ben & Jerry's ice cream.
Bennett made it clear that he views with utmost gravity the decision by Ben & Jerry's to boycott Israel, a clear anti-Israel step by Unilever's subsidiary.
He also emphasized that from Israel's perspective there will be severe consequences – including legal – to this action and that the Jewish state will respond strongly against any boycott directed at its citizens.
