Third straight day of over 1,300 COVID cases, slight rise in serious cases
The Ministry of Health reported another 1,336 coronavirus infections yesterday, after Tuesday saw a four month high of 1,400 cases along with 1,387 on Monday.
77,512 COVID tests were conducted yesterday, 1.74% returned positive.
Currently there are 9,673 active cases, including 72 hospitalized in serious condition – an increase of four from yesterday.
According to a Hebrew media report, the average hospitalization of serious COVID patients in July has only been eight days compared to an average of 10 to 12 days during the first six months of the year.
