19:26 - 16 Israelis lightly wounded as Hezbollah claims attack on IDF base near Beit Shemesh

A total of 16 Israelis were lightly wounded in a missile attack on central Israel around 5 pm, according to Magen David Adom.

Hezbollah took responsibility for the attack, claiming it used a barrage of "special" missiles, probably meaning a guided missile, to strike the IDF's satellite communications station in the Ela Valley. The site claimed to be a military installation, is actually a civilian site operated by the European company SES, according to the Times of Israel.

Footage circulating on social media showed an apparent impact near the nearby town of Beit Shemesh.

According to MDA, 14 people in good condition were treated in Ramle after an impact that also damaged a daycare center. Another impact in the Mateh Yehuda area, which also covers Beit Shemesh, wounded another two people. Police said that an impact there damaged unspecified infrastructure.

"My wife and I offer our deepest condolences to the family of Staff Sergeant Or Demry, of blessed memory, a combat engineering soldier who fell in battle in southern Lebanon," said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"Or fell in the same incident as his friend, Sergeant First Class Maher Khatar, of blessed memory, two heroes who went out to fight in defense of our country against the Hezbollah terrorist organization."

"Together with all the people of Israel, we embrace Or's family in their difficult hour. May his memory be a blessing."

18:04 - Trump 'not happy' with new Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei

U.S. President Donald Trump is “not happy” with the appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei to replace his slain father as Iran’s supreme leader, he told the New York Post when asked about his plans for the new leader.

“Not going to tell you. I’m not happy with him,” Trump said.

In earlier statements, Trump said that the new leader would have to receive his approval, or he "won't last long."

17:10 - Israel hit by additional barrage of missiles from Lebanon

Israel was hit by a barrage of missiles from Lebanon, with no reports of impact received by the country’s national emergency medical service.

As Israel responds to Hezbollah attacks since Hezbollah joined Iran's war effort, Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that more than one million Lebanese have fled their homes. This includes approximately 650,000 from the Hezbollah stronghold of Dahiyeh in Beirut, and another half a million from southern Lebanon.

14:28 - WATCH: 2 missiles intercepted in northern Israel

Two Iranian missiles were intercepted over northern Israel, according to Israeli media.

Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency medical service, stated that no reports of impacts or injuries have been received at this time.

16:14 - Iranian Foreign Ministry claims a Gulf state targeted its water desalination plant

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson told Arab media today that a water desalination plant located on the Iranian island of Qeshm was attacked by one of the Islamic Republic's neighboring countries.

The report follows Sunday’s denial by the UAE, which called the claims of its responsibility “fake news,” adding, “When we do something, we have the courage to announce it.”

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said operations in Iran are successfully degrading the regime's missile, naval, and weapons capabilities, speaking at the U.S. Hostage and Wrongful Detainee Flag Raising Ceremony today.

"I want everyone to know your military is getting the job done and every single day this regime in Iran has less missiles, has less launchers, their factories work less and their Navy is being eviscerated," Rubio said, adding "the world is going to be a safer and a better place when this mission is accomplished."

15:02 - IDF names 2nd soldier killed in Lebanon

The IDF has cleared for publication the name of the second Israeli soldier killed in combat in southern Lebanon yesterday: 20-year-old Staff Sgt. Or Demry, from Liman.

Demy served in the Combat Engineering Corps in the 91st Division.

The announcement follows news of another fallen soldier whose name was cleared for publication yesterday: Master Sgt. Maher Khatar, 38, from Majdal Shams.

Khatar served in the Combat Engineering Corps’ 91st Division and was killed during combat in southern Lebanon.

14:42 - Strikes on Iran‑backed militia headquarters in northern Iraq

Two airstrikes hit the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), an Iran-backed umbrella group of Shia militias in Iraq’s Nineveh Plains, local media reports.

Security sources estimate that the strikes targeted ammunition and logistical storage units, the report said.

Earlier attacks on PMF sites reportedly caused injuries and at least one fatality on March 3.



14:27 - 50 cargo aircraft have landed in Israel during Operation Roaring Lion

Since the start of Operation Roaring Lion, Israel has received approximately 50 cargo aircraft carrying over 1,000 tons of weapons, military equipment, and munitions, the Ministry of Defense reports. 

The large-scale airlift, conducted under fire, is coordinated in partnership with the IMOD Missions to the United States and Germany.

14:00 - NATO intercepts Iranian missile fired at Turkey

Turkey's Ministry of Defense says NATO intercepted a ballistic missile from Iran towards the country. Shrapnel fell on empty land without causing casualties or injuries.

Turkey said it "places great importance on good neighbourly relations and regional stability," while warning that "all necessary measures will be taken decisively and without hesitation" against threats directed at the country.

Turkish media published footage reportedly showing the shrapnel that landed in Gaziantep province in southeastern Turkey.


13:54 - Turkey deploys F-16s to northern Cyprus as US advises citizens to leave southeast Turkey

Turkey has deployed six F-16 fighter jets and air defense systems to Northern Cyprus, the Turkish Defense Ministry announced.

“In the context of the latest developments in our region, six F-16 fighter jets and air defense systems have been deployed to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as of today,” the ministry said, adding that further measures could be taken depending on developments in the region.

Meanwhile, the U.S. State Department has instructed its non-essential consular staff in Adana, near a NATO base in southern Turkey, and all Americans in southeast Turkey to depart due to safety risks.

A Hezbollah terrorist cell attempting to enter a Christian area in southern Lebanon was struck and eliminated by an Israeli Air Force fighter jet, the IDF announced.

The Parliament of Lebanon has approved a two-year extension of its mandate, with 76 votes in favor, 41 against, and four abstentions, Lebanese news outlets report.

Parliamentary elections had been scheduled for May.

12:25 - IDF strikes on Dahiyeh caught on live television

During a live report for Lebanese television channel Red TV, coverage captured IDF strikes on Dahiyeh as they unfolded on air.

11:50 - 1 killed, 2 seriously injured in Iranian missile attacks in central Israel

One man was killed, another critically wounded, and a third seriously injured in Yehud, central Israel, medical officials report. 

Police say at least six impact sites in Israel were struck by Iranian cluster munitions in the latest ballistic missile attack.

Earlier this morning, the MDA spokesperson announced that an elderly man was in moderate condition with a head injury after he was injured on his way to a shelter in Arad, southern Israel.


10:30 - No injuries in simultaneous attacks on northern and southern Israel that sent millions into bunkers

Red alert sirens were activated across large portions of northern and southern Israel amid Iranian missile attacks.

Magen David Adom announced shortly after that it had received no calls for help or any reports of missile impacts.

10:01 - CENTCOM: 8th US soldier dies in 'health-related incident' in Kuwait

"A U.S. National Guard Soldier died in a health-related incident in Kuwait on March 6 during a medical emergency," the U.S. Central Command stated.

"The exact cause of death is under review. We refer you to the U.S. National Guard Bureau for additional information."

The announcement comes after CENTCOM said on Sunday that a 7th soldier had succumbed to wounds sustained during the current war.


09:13 - Iran chooses Mojtaba Khamenei as new Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic

Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the slain Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, will succeed him as the Islamic Republic's next Supreme Leader, Iranian state television announced overnight.

In its reports, Iranian media referred to Mojtaba Khamenei as being wounded in the war. His father, wife, as well as his mother and a son were reportedly killed in an Israeli strike.

The Assembly of Experts stated that the 56-year-old Mojtaba was “appointed and introduced as the third leader of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on the decisive vote of the respected representatives of the council."

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) later declared its allegiance to the new leader in a statement, affirming that it was “ready for complete obedience and self-sacrifice in carrying out the divine commands of the Guardian Jurist of the time, His Eminence Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.”


09:04 - IDF renews call to evacuate Beirut's Dahiyeh ahead of new strikes

IDF Arabic Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Avichay Adraee renewed his instructions to evacuate Beirut's Dahiyeh district, ahead of fresh Israeli airstrikes in the area.

"In the coming hours, the Israel Defense Forces will operate forcefully against the terrorist infrastructure of Al-Qard al-Hassan Association, which constitutes a central element in financing Hezbollah's terrorist activities and harms the Lebanese economy in service of Iranian interests," he warned.

"The Israel Defense Forces do not intend to harm you, and therefore I reiterate my call to residents of the southern suburbs to evacuate their homes, following the evacuation routes we have published... Remaining in the area endangers your lives and constitutes a free prize for the terrorist Hezbollah, which hides behind you and sacrifices you for the survival of the terrorist regime in Tehran."

U.S. President Donald Trump said the decision on when to end the war with Iran will be a joint decision made together with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to a Times of Israel report.

Trump described the timing of ending the conflict as a “mutual decision,” signaling close coordination between Washington and Jerusalem as the war continues.

08:25 - Lebanese PM: Israel gave assurances not to target Beirut airport

Lebanon's Prime Minister Nawaf Salam told the newspaper L'Orient LeJour, "Until further notice, the only guarantees we have been able to obtain are that the airport and the airport road will be spared."

Salam also said, "At last Monday's cabinet meeting, we stated our readiness to resume negotiations, including a civilian component, under international auspices. The issue of direct negotiations was not raised, and the Israelis did not respond to our proposal. However, we are open to discussing any agenda, format, and location."


07:46 - IDF struck ballistic missile launch sites and Basij headquarters in Iran

The IDF completed another wave of attacks on the Iranian regime's infrastructure across Iran, the IDF spokesperson said. The Israeli Air Force struck a factory that manufactures rocket engines and launch sites for long-range ballistic missiles intended for launching into Israel, the IDF said.

Strikes also targeted infrastructure belonging to the internal security forces and the Basij.

04:55 - US facilities attacked in Iraq

A U.S. diplomatic building near Baghdad's international airport was targeted by rocket and drone fire, the Associated Press reports. Security sources also reported a UAV attack targeting an American base near the airport in Erbil in Iraq. 

04:45 - Bahrain says children among the 32 injured in Iranian drone attack

The Iranian drone attack earlier this morning hit a residential area in Bahrain and wounded 32 Bahraini civilians, including children as young as two years old, Bahraini authorities said.

The attacks occurred on Sitra Island, close to energy infrastructure.

Authorities said four of those wounded are in critical condition, which includes two boys, aged 7 and 8, who suffered serious injuries requiring surgery. 

04:40 - Drone shot down near U.S. base in Iraq 

Iraqi air defenses shot down a drone early Monday near Victoria Base, a U.S.-operated military compound inside Baghdad International Airport, the Associated Press reports, citing a security source.

There were no reported injuries or damage.

04:25 - Saudi Arabia issues new warning to Iran over repeated attacks 

Saudi Arabia repeated its warnings to Iran early Monday, saying Tehran would be the “biggest loser” if it continues to attack Arab states. The Saudi statement came after several drone attacks targeted its Shaybah oil field.

The kingdom also dismissed comments by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, saying Iran would halt attacks on Gulf states.

“The kingdom affirms that the Iranian side has not implemented this statement in practice, neither during the Iranian president’s speech nor afterward,” the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

“Iran has continued its aggression based on flimsy pretexts devoid of any factual basis.”

04:15 - Bahrain: At least 32 injured in an Iranian drone attack 

32 people were wounded in an attack by an Iranian drone in the area of Sitra Island in Bahrain, the Associated Press reports, citing the country's Ministry of Health.

The IDF has launched another wave of strikes against regime infrastructure in central Iran, the IDF spokesperson reported.

03:55 - Qatar arrests over 300 people for ‘misleading information 

Qatar arrested more than 300 people from different nationalities over allegations of inciting public concern amid the Iran war, the Associated Press reports.

The Interior Ministry said the suspects were detained for “filming, circulating, and publishing misleading information.”

Saudi Arabia’s Defense Ministry said its forces early Monday destroyed another two drones targeting its Shaybah oil field. 

03:00 - Woman injured by missile fire in Rishon LeZion 

A woman was injured by debris from the last missile salvo in Rishon LeZion in central Israel. She was listed in moderate condition, Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency services said.

MDA provided the woman with medical treatment at the scene, and she was not hospitalized. 

02:41 - Iran launched a cluster warhead missile in the latest barrage at the center 

The IDF assesses that Iran launched a cluster warhead in the last barrage into the central region, making it difficult to determine if there was a successful interception. The IDF is currently investigating whether the missile was intercepted in the air, and whether the fragments that fell are shrapnel from the interception or cluster munitions. 

02:40 - First rescue flight for Israelis departs Dubai for Israel 

An Emirati plane with 330 Israelis left the airport in Dubai for Tel Aviv. The flight is expected to land at Ben Gurion Airport in about four and a half hours. This is the first rescue flight from Dubai since the start of Operation Roaring Lion.
