Israeli settler attempts to ram IDF officer near Huwara
An Israeli settler from the Samaria region on Monday evening attempted to ram his car into an on-duty Israeli Defense Forces officer working to keep peace in Huwara.
IDF soldiers fired at the vehicle, which fled the scene.
The IDF also reported that a group of settlers near Shavei Shomron, close to Huwara, threw stones at soldiers who had come to disperse them.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant called the attacks by settlers on soldiers “grave and unacceptable.”
