Israeli city announces ban on unvaccinated non-residents from city
The mayor of Hadera announced that unvaccinated non-residents of his city are persona non grata unless they have a valid negative COVID test.
Mayor Zvika Gandelman said the order is effective immediately. The municipality made the announcement on Thursday on its Facebook page.
Gandelman appointed a commissioner to enforce the order and to dispatch officers to check IDs and proof of vaccination, or the green passport, at beaches and parks.
