Israeli-Arab swimmer wins first Paralympic gold medal

Israeli-Arab swimmer, Iyad Shalabi, won a gold medal in the 100-meter backstroke. Shalabi was born deaf and then at the age of 13 became paralyzed in his lower body after an accident.

This is Israel's first medal ever won by an Israeli-Arab in the Olympic or Paralympic games.
