Israel sets new COVID record second day in a row
Israel set a record for the second straight day in an all-time pandemic high of coronavirus infections topping the 16,000 mark.
The official number is 16,115, and serious cases is 134.
So far, about 15% of Israelis have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic compared to 17% in the U.S. and 20% in the U.K., 13% in Sweden (with a similar population) and 15% in Denmark.
