US Embassy in Jerusalem issues security alert, tensions with Iran remain high
The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem issued a security alert to U.S. citizens in Israel this morning, warning of possible flight and travel disruptions due to rising tensions in the region.
Israel has been on high alert leading up to the holidays. Meanwhile, Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until U.S. conditions are met and American commitments are implemented, according to the semi-official Fars news agency.
