Two IDF reservists killed in Gaza drone accident
Two reserve soldiers, Staff Sgt. Nadav Kalli and Staff Sgt. Ofek Moalem, were killed in an operational incident in Gaza, the IDF announced on Friday.
The soldiers were killed when an IDF drone fell inside an army post for unknown reasons. An initial investigation indicates that the two likely touched the drone, causing it to detonate.
The IDF has suspended the use of explosive drones while the investigation continues, though officials assess that the drone did not crash as a result of frequency interference.
