Synagogue in Paris apparently vandalized during violent riots
A synagogue on Rue Burnouf in Paris’ 19th arrondissement was apparently vandalized by rioters yesterday, according to videos circulating on social media as reported by the TImes of Israel.
The footage shows books and religious items scattered across the synagogue floor as demonstrations escalated into some of France’s worst riots in years.
Rioters also targeted public buildings, looted luxury boutiques and supermarkets, and attacked police vehicles and officers.
No injuries have been reported, and it remains unclear whether anyone was inside the synagogue during the attack.
