Israeli help against Houthis won't make Saudi Arabia compromise on Abraham Accords, normalization - report

Amid reports that Israel is helping the Saudi military by transmitting intelligence for its fight against the Houthi terrorists in Yemen, a Saudi source told Kan News that this wouldn't make Riyadh more flexible in its conditions regarding normalization with Israel.

The source asserted that, for Riyadh, the path to normalization continues to go through resolving the Palestinian issue.

The source further noted that the kingdom doesn't believe the situation can be solved with a broad military operation, but rather prefers to avert the Houthi threat "in a smart and strategic manner, with international involvement."

Kan News also cited a source within the pro-Saudi forces in Yemen confirming that their conversations with Riyadh over the past 24 hours indicate that Saudi Arabia is not interested in a comprehensive confrontation but it focused on recapturing areas near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
