'Israel and US, or Iran and Hamas?' Israel launches PR campaign during UN General Assembly
Alongside the U.N. General Assembly currently meeting in New York City, Israel has launched a massive campaign highlighting the threat of the Iranian terrorist regime to the free world, and the joint efforts of the US and Israel against it.
The National Public Diplomacy Directorate's campaign is taking place from 23 - 25 September, focusing on the area of the UN headquarters in Manhattan, using some five hundred billboards on major streets, including large signs in Times Square, in addition to trucks equipped with digital screens and a "sweeping digital campaign."
"Millions of people are expected to be exposed to the campaign and its messages," said directorate head Tzipi Hotovely.
"Against the backdrop of incitement and anti-Israel messaging promoted by our adversaries, the UN General Assembly session is an opportunity to raise awareness of the hypocrisy and cynicism prevalent against us in the corridors of the UN."
