Following church attack, Jordan strikes southern Syria; five reported killed
Following Friday’s deadly attack on a church in the Jordanian city of Al-Karak, the Jordanian Air Force carried out strikes in southern Syria, claiming to have destroyed terrorist targets in coordination with the Syrian government.
However, Syria’s Foreign Ministry denied any coordination with Jordan, while the country’s state news agency reported that five civilians, including women and children, were killed in the strikes.
