IDF says it shot down Hezbollah drone in Israeli territory
The Israeli army said it downed a Hezbollah drone that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli airspace on Thursday.
"IDF troops downed a drone belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli airspace. The drone was monitored by the IDF throughout the incident," the IDF said in a statement.
"The IDF will continue to operate in order to prevent any attempt to violate Israeli sovereignty."
Hezbollah is an Iran-sponsored terror organization based in southern Lebanon.
