The enemy waited until war became a dirty word
If you were the enemy, carefully following predictable trends, it was only a matter of time until the notion of war would be so unsavory that taking on your opponent would become child’s play.
And that is what has happened. For many Americans, a multitude of factors have taken precedent over the necessity of war, causing them to prioritize other issues while either delaying or completely rejecting the once important defensive measures to avoid an attack.
Here are some of those factors:
High prices: In the present conflict between Iran and the rest of the world, the regime has figured out the best way to injure the superpower – just hit their citizens in the pocketbook.
With gas prices reaching as high as $6.00 a gallon and an average of $4.00 nationwide, Americans, many of whom don’t understand the real significance of taking on Iran, are fed up with having to pay for a war they think doesn’t concern them.
It also doesn’t help to have a vice-president whose isolationist opinions, on foreign policy, are seen as being in direct opposition to the America First agenda, focusing solely on national concerns. Linking far-away wars to the strained budgets of Americans is a winning strategy for those who see war as a negative.
Diplomatic resolutions: The concept of avoiding war has been enacted by business people, who naively believe that any problem can be solved by throwing enough money at it. Their vision of providing enough incentives to get people to come around, grossly underestimates the pull of radical ideology, which motivates terrorists to fight to the death, expecting to be greatly rewarded in the next life.
Unfortunately, we live in a world where living “the good life,” in the here and now, is not everyone’s dream. It’s also important to remember that diplomatic resolutions are only successful when shared values can be established and compromise is an option. Neither of those are relevant when it comes to negotiating with terrorists.
Taking freedom for granted: Thanks to over a million American men and women, who have died in the service to their country over the past 250 years, today’s citizens have come to expect that freedom will always prevail. Sadly, this is a great fallacy, already being challenged, as socialists make every attempt to replace democratic values that allow for personal liberties.
Without fighting for those freedoms, they are easily taken away by enemies who aspire to control others. Previous generations understood that the preservation of America’s principles were dependent upon going to war when there was a looming threat – even across an ocean.
Changing social attitudes: Woke ideology, which encompasses anti-Israel/Jewish sentiment, as well as embracing select groups, seen as “the oppressed,” has been responsible for an alignment with the enemies of America. Without realizing whose bidding they’re doing, even many gays have taken up the cudgels of terrorist states that would kill them in a heartbeat.
The level of ignorance, which has caused many of today’s young people to side with those who accuse Israel of genocide and apartheid has been an unexpected win for terrorist regimes, while striking a blow for the American way of life, denigrating its immeasurable worth.
Imported populations: Possibly the greatest harm to Western society has been its willingness to open their doors to migrants, whose morals and vast cultural differences have dramatically changed the way everyone thinks about national pride, patriotism and mutual consideration of others.
As the children of these migrants have reached the age of maturity, many of them are displaying a revered loyalty to the countries from which their parents came, manifested in their activism to import the oppressed way of life they supposedly wanted to escape.
Unbeknownst to many American citizens, who did their utmost to facilitate a better future for them, these young people have the ability to change laws and traditions, simply by running for elected office – something many of them are now doing.
The vision of a new global order: The concept of a new society, where everyone is equal, living in a borderless world, is being pushed by anarchists, international progressives and adherents to One World ideologies, all of whom believe in one race, one world and mass migration to anywhere in the world. Defined as “a system controlling events in the world, especially a set of arrangements established internationally for preserving global political stability,” it’s easy to see how war would become outdated and unnecessary when a system has been set up to determine what will happen by those who decide.
The idea is to do away with competition, rivalry and the distribution of power, in favor of a singular leadership, composed of several international bodies, in the style of the U.N. or the World Trade Organization. What could possibly go wrong? Rules and standards would be pre-determined by them, making conflict and war obsolete.
The enormous financial cost of war: The U.S., pausing their nightly attacks against Iran has brought speculation that the reason is due to a shortage of air defense interceptors, delaying a major strike promised by President Trump.
At the recent Senate Appropriations Committee hearing, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth made the impassioned plea for an additional $87.6 billion, urgently needed as “mounting costs” pile up connected to the war with Iran.
What happens when fighting a war is dependent upon politically-motivated senators, who have decided that they are unwilling to fund a war to which they are opposed? Exactly what is happening now – a pause.
It’s easy to see how all of these factors, are benefitting the enemy, who has patiently waited for each of these conditions to converge, making it easy for them to win the battle against freedom, without ever having to engage in conventional military combat.
All they really had to do was wait it out until a generation of cowards, ingrates and pseudo-intellectuals came together to undermine the greatest and freest system the world has ever known. While it took a little time, it was worth it to put an end to war.
Ironically, this will only result in the acknowledgment of why going to war was so important in the first place – to remain a free people uncontrolled by others!
