opinion Palestine Action supporters aren’t being arrested for protesting – they’re being arrested for supporting terrorism

I read last week in ALL ISRAEL NEWS that 139 of my fellow citizens were arrested last Saturday for supporting Palestine Action.

British police arrested 139 people on Saturday at a demonstration outside the U.S. Embassy in London in support of Palestine Action, a pro-Palestinian activist group banned under UK anti-terrorism laws.

The arrests highlight the ongoing dispute over the group’s proscription, which makes membership in, or certain forms of support for, Palestine Action a criminal offense.

Palestine Action is a proscribed terrorist organization. They have caused hundreds of millions of pounds in damage.

They spray-painted two RAF military refueling aircraft, causing £7 million in damage.

They caused approximately £1 million in damage at Elbit Systems.

In Glasgow, they caused more than £1 million worth of damage at a Thales defense factory.

They broke windows and sprayed red paint over a Barclays Bank in Lancashire.

These aren't the actions of protesters; these are the actions of thugs and terrorists.

Everyone has the right to protest. You have the right to protest anything you like, but you don't have the right to commit criminal damage. You don't have the right to hurt anyone else.

We need to make it clear that people aren't being arrested for wanting to stop a genocide. I don't agree that there is a genocide, but they aren't getting arrested for that.

They aren't getting arrested for protesting. They are getting arrested for supporting a terrorist organization.

It's just like supporting Hamas or any other major terrorist organization. If you support Hamas, if you give them money, you will be arrested.

Go out and protest if you must. Give out your leaflets. Hold your banners, as long as they are not antisemitic. But don't support a terrorist organization.

You're not somehow more righteous if you get arrested; you're just a terrorist supporter.

It is only a matter of time before someone is killed by these terrorist thugs.

Police Sergeant Kate Evans suffered a fractured lumbar spine after being struck with a sledgehammer by a Palestine Action activist during a factory break-in.

You march in the streets, you chant and shout, but do you support the attack on one of our brave policewomen?

This was a brutal attack by a Palestine Action terrorist.

Attacks on industry cost businesses money. Attacking an RAF base means that I pay for that damage. My tax pounds will pay for all that damage. The everyday person is having to pay for the damage these thugs cause.

You go to work each day, you work hard, and yet the money you earn is going toward fixing damage that these terrorists have caused.

I heard someone on GB News ask, "What more do these protesters want?"

Every week there are protests, and yet the British government has given them what they want.

They have seen Palestine recognized. They have seen sanctions imposed on so-called Israeli West Bank settlements, and they have seen the Green Party declare that Zionism is racism.

In reality, the government and politicians are supporting the protesters through their policies.

What these people need is God.

When we take God out of a situation and man's wisdom comes to the forefront, we get incidents like those Palestine Action is committing.

James 1:19-20:

"So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God." (NKJV)

Terrorism produces more hate, but we should be willing to listen. Listen to someone else's opinion. Be slow to speak because we should be silent, listening and contemplating what is being said. Be slow to wrath because wrath brings destruction. It destroys us just as much as it destroys others or other people's property.

Let us seek God so that terrorism doesn't win. We need God's heart in these situations.
