US military head Mark Milley to visit Israel, discuss IDF crisis next week
The chair of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mike Milley will visit Israel next week, according to a Walla! news report.
The goal of Milley's visit is to gain a deeper understanding of the crisis within the Israel Defense Forces caused by the boycott of reserve soldiers who are protesting against the government's judicial reform.
Milley is expected to meet with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and other high-ranking security officials.
