Palestinians try and fail to fire a rocket from Jenin toward Israeli settlement
The IDF on Tuesday confirmed earlier reports that a Palestinian terror group calling itself "al-Ayyash Brigades" tried to fire a rocket from the West Bank town of Jenin toward the Israeli settlement Shaked.
IDF soldiers found remains of an improvised rocket, a rocket launcher, and traces of explosives.
The IDF is searching for suspects and will continue investigating the incident.
The same group made repeated claims of rocket fire toward Shaked in the past, with shrapnel found in the area after some of the claims were made.
