Over 2,000 confirmed COVID cases, highest daily total in current wave
The Ministry of Health reported 2,123 new infections yesterday, the highest number in about four and a half months.
About 90,000 coronavirus tests were conducted yesterday – also a record high of late – with a test positivity rate of 2.32%.
The number of hospitalized patients in serious condition continues to rise – 135 as of this morning.
