Lowest positive rate of COVID recorded in Israel in four months
Israel reported just 727 positive COVID cases – 0.85% of all those tested – on Tuesday, a four-month low.
This milestone comes as Israel is in a rapid departure from the fourth wave of COVID that ravaged the nation late this summer. During the fourth wave, Israel set all-time pandemic highs with more than 12,000 positive cases detected a few days in a row.
The number of serious cases also dropped dramatically to 237 – almost a three-month low – as of Wednesday.
