In an update on Operation Epic Fury, Admiral Brad Cooper confirmed that U.S. forces have destroyed over 5,500 targets within Iran and 60 vessels, eliminating the entire Soleimani-class of warships.

Cooper characterized the campaign against Iran's defense industrial base as "unpredictable, dynamic and decisive," asserting that the U.S. "clearly excercizing air superiority over vast swaths" of the country while Tehran's combat power declines.

Noting close coordination with Israel, Cooper said: "Our dominance is not a solo effort," adding, "It's a testament to the strength of our ironclad alliances."

14:47 - Israeli FM Sa’ar: Lebanon under threat of ‘de-facto Iranian occupation’

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar warned that Lebanon will remain under “de-facto Iranian occupation” unless Hezbollah is dismantled, in a briefing with his British counterpart Yvette Cooper.

Sa’ar detailed Hezbollah’s attacks on Israeli communities and Cyprus, noting that Iran’s attacks across the region underscore the threat it would pose with nuclear weapons.

Iranian drones targetted the British air base in Akrotiri, Cyprus, on March 2 and again later that week.

14:07 - No injuries reported after first Iranian missile attack in 9 hours

There were no reports of serious injuries or significant damage after the first ballistic missile attacks from Iran in around nine hours. Magen David Adom said that paramedics were sent to treat several people who hurt themselves on the way to a shelter but that no one was wounded as a direct result of the attack.

Alarm sirens were activated in quick succession across broad areas of the country, inlcuding the southern Golan Heights, the eastern Galilee, the Jordan Valley, Samaria, and the greater Tel Aviv area.

At the same time, Hezbollah launched a drone attack that activated warning sirens in the area of Rosh Hanikra and Nahariya.

A small number of missiles were launched, most of which were likely intercepted or fell in open areas, according to initial military assessments.

13:37 - Erdogan slams ‘Zionist murder network,’ avoids mention of Iran strikes on Turkey

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned his party in Parliament, “We absolutely must not fall for the Zionist murder network’s ‘killing two birds with one stone’ game.”

He urged the US‑Israel conflict with Iran to stop “before it escalates and completely engulfs the region in flames,” emphasizing that Turkey is acting cautiously to shield itself from the surrounding fire.

Notably, Erdogan made no mention of recent Iranian ballistic missile strikes on Turkish territory.

He also said that Turkey is “taking the necessary precautions against the bloody scenarios that are being attempted to be staged in our region, especially sectarian conflict,” in an apparent reference to reports about Israeli and US contacts with Iranian Kurdish rebel groups.

13:16 - Iranian spokesperson threatens U.S. and Israeli financial institutions

A spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters condemned an alleged strike on a Tehran bank on Tuesday and threatened retaliation. 

Describing the attack as an “illegitimate and unconventional act of war,” he threatened “painful retaliatory action” and called on people in countries hosting U.S. and Israeli banks to “stay out of a one-kilometer radius” of the facilities.

Hamas issued a statement congratulating Iran’s leadership on appointing Mojtaba Khamenei as successor to Ali Khamenei, killed in Operation Roaring Lion.

Spokesperson Hazem Qassem extended congratulations and called for Irans succeess against what he described as “Israeli‑American aggression,” urging the regime to prevent “arrogant powers” from imposing their will.

12:38 - Funeral processions for Iranian leaders under shadow of renewed IDF strikes

Iran is holding funeral processions for officials killed in recent strikes as the IDF launched a fresh wave of attacks on the country.

The public ceremonies are being held in Tehran's Enqelab Square, as attendees chant anti-U.S. and anti-Israel slogans.

12:27 - Sa’ar calls on UN to label IRGC terrorist organization ahead of Iran-focused session

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar called for UN designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization in a letter sent to the UN Security Council via the U.S. presidency, ahead of the Council’s Wednesday session focused on the conflict with Iran.

Sa’ar warned that the Iranian regime is "secretly accelerating" its nuclear program and targeting Israeli civilians, noting recent attacks killed 13 Israelis and injured hundreds. 

He also cited the regime’s violent suppression of its people and framed Operation Roaring Lion as potentially creating conditions for the Iranian people to “liberate themselves from tyrannical rule.”

In an unprecedented move, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood approved the Metropolitan Police’s request to ban Sunday’s “Al Quds Day" march in London, citing the need to prevent “serious public disorder.”
The ban of the annual pro-Palestine march sponsored by the Iranian regime marks the first use of such powers since 2012.

11:47 - Italian PM claims U.S. and Israel are breaching International Law

Addressing the Senate, Italian Prime Minister Meloni affirmed that Iran cannot obtain nuclear weapons while accusing the United States and Israel of acting outside the framework of international law.

“It is within this context of crisis in the international system — where threats are becoming increasingly alarming and unilateral interventions carried out outside the framework of international law are multiplying — that we must also place the American and Israeli intervention against the Iranian regime,” Meloni stated, adding that Italy would not participate in the war.

11:32 - Two Iranian drones plunge into sea off Omani commercial port

The state-run Oman News Agency reported that two Iranian drones fell into the sea north of the commercial port of Duqm, with no casualties.

Iran’s news agency Tasnim confirmed that they targeted “American positions in the northern part of Duqm,” on the Arabian Sea coast.

Oman previously confirmed that a drone hit a fuel tank at the same port on March 2. Duqm has been a key resupply port for the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, the Associated Press reported.

11:12 - Pahlavi says Iranians at 'decisive stage' of their struggle, warns military of 'last chance' to join people

Crown Prince and regime opposition leader Reza Pahlavi told Iranians they are at the decisive stage of their “final struggle.” Addressing the people, he urged: “For your own safety, withdraw from the streets and remain in your homes,” while instructing them to “continue to strike” from work and maintain their “nightly chants” to show unity.

Turning to the military and law enforcement, Pahlavi warned: “This is your last chance to break from the oppressive forces and join your people.”

He concluded with a message of anticipation: “Await my final call.”

10:57 - IDF further reinforces troops in Northern Command amid fighting against Hezbollah

"The Chief of the General Staff instructed to reinforce the Northern Command sector and to transition the Golani Brigade to operations from the Southern Command to Operations in the Northern Command sector," the Israeli military announced.

Chief of Staff, Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir ordered the reinforcements after a situational assessment today with additional commanders following recent developments in Operation “Roaring Lion.”

"The IDF is operating with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization as a result of the terrorist organization's decision to deliberately attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian terror regime, and will not tolerate any harm to the residents of the State of Israel."


10:39 - Third ship attacked by projectile near Hormuz Straits today

A third ship was attacked near the Hormuz Strait today, said UKMTO, the maritime authority with responsibility for the region.

The tanker reported being hit by an “unknown projectile” around 50 nautical miles northwest of Dubai. The report added that the ship's crew is safe and that the strike had no environmental impact, according to UKMTO.

Earlier today, a cargo ship caught fire and was evacuated after an attack some 11 nautical miles north of Oman’s Musandam Peninsula, and another cargo ship was attacked off the coast of the UAE.

UKMTO has reported 13 attacks on ships since the start of the war. Earlier reports today suggested the Iranian regime has started to lay mines in the narrow, strategic straits.

10:15 - UAE shoots down two drones near Dubai International Airport

Emirati air defenses intercepted two Iranian drones near Dubai International Airport, usually the busiest airport in the world, according to Dubai authorities.

Four people were wounded in the attack, including an Indian national in moderate condition, and two Ghanaians and one Bangladeshi who suffered lighter injuries.

Flights have resumed, authorities stated.

09:56 – 205 Israelis treated for war injuries over past 24 hours

205 injured people were taken to hospitals for treatment over the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry announced.

One of them is in critical condition, two are in moderate condition and the rest are in good condition. Eight were treated for acute anxiety suffered amid missile attacks.

Since the start of the war, hospitals have treated 2,557, a number that includes soldiers and civilians.

Four people were killed in an Israeli strike targeting an apartment in central Beirut, Lebanese media report.

08:19 - NYT report: Mojtaba Khamenei was wounded in the legs during the assassination attempt 

Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, was injured in the legs, among other things, in the Israeli assassination attempt at the beginning of the war, but he is alert and is staying in a highly secure place with limited communication.

This was reported by the New York Times, citing three Iranian sources, who explained that there is concern that any communication with the environment will reveal his location and put him in danger. In addition, according to two Israeli military sources, the Israeli security establishment believes that Khamenei was wounded in the leg on the first day of the war, even before he was elected supreme leader.

A projectile hit a container ship early Wednesday morning off the coast of the United Arab Emirates in the Strait of Hormuz, the British military said.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations center issued the warning, saying the attack happened off Ras al-Khaimah, the UAE’s northern-most emirate on the strait. The UKMTO said the “extent of the damage is currently unknown but under investigation by the crew.”

Iran's police chief, Ahmadreza Radan, referred to the possibility that protesters would take to the streets, telling state television that “anyone taking into streets at the enemy’s request will be confronted as an enemy not protestor.”

“All our security forces have their fingers on the trigger,” Radan said.

The Russian consulate in Isfahan, central Iran, was hit as a result of an attack carried out in the city on Sunday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

“On March 8, in the Iranian city of Isfahan, as a result of an attack on the governor’s administration of the province of the same name located nearby, the Russian consulate was damaged,” Zakharova said.

“Windows were shattered in the office building and residential apartments, and several employees were thrown by the blast wave. Fortunately, there were no casualties or serious injuries.”

"An attack on a diplomatic mission is a blatant violation of international conventions and all parties should maintain the immunity of diplomatic sites," she stated.

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that U.S. forces eliminated multiple Iranian naval vessels on Tuesday, March 10, including 16 minelayers near the Strait of Hormuz.

This was after CNN reported that Iran had begun placing mines in the strait.
