Israel to allow rapid COVID tests rather than PCR before boarding incoming flights
Upon landing in Israel everyone still required, however, to take a PCR test at Ben-Gurion Airport

In another move aimed at easing travel to Israel, the Ministry of Health announced today it will accept a rapid test taken the same day as travel instead of a PCR test.
“Quicker, more accessible and cheaper,” Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz said on Twitter.
The new policy begins next week. The tests must be taken in conjunction with a “known body in the foreign country,” the Health Ministry statement said.
However, anyone landing in Israel is still required to take a PCR test at Ben-Gurion Airport.
