In rare daytime raid, IDF forces kill shooter from last week’s Huwara attack
A joint operation on Tuesday between the Israeli Security Agency, Israel Defense Forces, and Border Police in Jenin resulted in the killing of the shooter suspected of killing two Israeli brothers in Huwara last week.
The suspect was barricaded in a building with armed suspects who began to fire heavily upon Israeli forces, who responded with live fire.
Explosive devices and bricks were thrown at the Israeli soldiers by other groups, and the IDF responded with crowd dispersal techniques and live fire.
Two Israeli counter-terror officers were injured during the operation.
