IDF veteran sets himself on fire after disability request denied
An Israel Defense Forces veteran in his 30s set himself on fire in Netanya on Tuesday, after his application to be recognized as disabled was rejected by the IDF.
The man was rushed to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer in serious condition. The IDF stated that the man was suffering from a mental illness unrelated to his army service.
