IDF forces kill three gunmen who fired on military post
Israel Defense Forces reported that a number of armed gunmen opened fire toward IDF soldiers at a military post adjacent to the Jit Junction early Sunday morning.
A Golani unit patrolling the area engaged the gunmen and killed three of them, while a fourth gunman turned himself in.
The soldiers confiscated three M-16 rifles, a pistol and cartridges that were in the possession of the terrorists, the IDF said.
Palestinian media reported the gunmen were members of the Lion’s Den terror group from Nablus.
