East Jerusalem resident convicted of supporting Hamas
An Arab resident of East Jerusalem was convicted on Tuesday of funding the Hamas terror organization.
Fares Totah, 44, was indicted for funding terror operations for over a decade.
Between 2022 and 2012, Totah raised four million shekels, over $1 million, for an NGO being run by Hamas activist Khaled Sabah for the fraudulent purpose of collecting money for the needy.
In reality, Sabah's organization fraudulently transferred the funds to the families of Hamas operatives.
