WSJ: Trump deploys special forces, fighter squadrons, and bombers to Middle East
The Trump administration has deployed special operations forces, fighter squadrons, aerial refueling aircraft, and B-1 bombers to the Middle East in recent days, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing U.S. officials. The report says the buildup is intended to provide President Donald Trump with additional military options.
The newspaper also reported that more than 150 U.S. military medical personnel have been sent to the American military hospital in Germany to prepare for casualties from the fighting in the Middle East.
The White House declined to comment on the deployments but said "all options remain on the table" for President Trump.
