‘Whoever gets close, gets killed’ - Israel is on the offensive, IDF chief tells soldiers
The Israeli military has begun its offensive operation, according to IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi.
“After a difficult start, we are shaping the contact line. We targeted a lot of terrorists - whoever gets close, gets killed," Halevi told IDF commanders in the field near the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
"We will finish neutralizing the terrorists in the area, so that we will not have terrorists here in Israel, and we are at the same time already striking on offense.”
“We have many more tasks, we need to be strong. It started badly [for us], and will end very badly on the other side,” Halevi stated.
