'We don't take US threats seriously': Iranian Parliament Speaker hits back at Trump
After U.S. President Donald Trump warned the regime that the U.S. could renew military strikes over Hezbollah's attacks against Israel, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf responded on X, mocking, "We do not take the Americans’ threats seriously."
“Don’t they think for themselves that if their threats had any effect, they would not have reached today’s state of desperation?... They would do better to watch their words. Our armed forces are prepared to respond in a different manner. No matter how much they talk, we are the ones who act.”
A few hours before, Trump had warned on Truth Social that "Iran must immediately stop their highly paid PROXIES in Lebanon from causing trouble. If they don’t, we’ll hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder!!!"
