USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier en route from Far East to Middle East
The New York Times reported overnight that the U.S. military is redeploying the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln from the South China Sea toward the Middle East, amid rising tensions with Iran.
According to the report, the carrier will operate as part of a larger strike group including aircraft and naval vessels, with additional fighter jets expected to deploy to the region, some arriving from Europe.
