US signs civilian nuclear agreement with Saudi Arabia - report
The United States has signed a civilian nuclear cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia that would allow the kingdom to develop a civilian nuclear program, including enriching uranium on its own soil, according to a report.
The Trump administration argues the agreement will give Washington significant oversight of Saudi Arabia's nuclear program and help prevent it from being diverted for military purposes.
According to The New York Times, President Donald Trump did not condition the agreement on Saudi normalization with Israel.
