U.S. pressures Lebanese government to act on disarming Hezbollah
Israel has conveyed a complaint to the United States in recent days regarding the Lebanese Army’s performance in disarming Hezbollah. According to the message relayed to the Beirut government through American channels: if the Lebanese Army does not act effectively against Hezbollah, the Israeli Air Force will significantly expand its strikes in Lebanon — including areas Israel has so far avoided at the request of the Trump administration.
