US military: 90 Iranian military targets struck in latest wave of attacks
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said it completed another round of strikes against Iran overnight, targeting assets used to threaten commercial shipping and civilian mariners in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to CENTCOM, 90 Iranian military targets were hit, including air defense systems, coastal surveillance assets, missile and drone storage sites, naval capabilities, and military logistics infrastructure along Iran’s coastline.
The U.S. military said the operation was intended to further degrade Iran's ability to carry out attacks against commercial vessels transiting the strategic waterway.
