US and Iran agree to halt fighting and resume talks on final deal - report
The United States and Iran have reportedly agreed to stop their recent exchanges of fire and return to negotiations aimed at reaching a final agreement to end the conflict, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing U.S. and other officials involved in the talks.
According to the report, the agreement would pause hostilities while diplomatic efforts continue. A U.S. official also said commercial vessels will now be able to pass freely through the Strait of Hormuz.
