US Ambassador to UN on killing of protesters in Iran: 'All options are on the table to stop the massacre'
The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Waltz, said that all options are on the table to halt the killing of protesters in Iran, amid growing international concern over the regime’s violent crackdown.
Against this backdrop, The New York Times reported overnight that the U.S. military is redeploying the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln from the South China Sea to the Middle East, as tensions with Iran continue to escalate.
The carrier will join a larger strike group that includes aircraft and naval vessels, with an additional deployment of fighter jets to the region expected, some arriving from Europe.
