US ambassador: Israeli intelligence warned White House of specific plot to assassinate Trump
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said Israeli intelligence warned the White House of a specific Iranian plot to assassinate President Donald Trump.
Huckabee added that Americans should understand Iran has been calling for “Death to America” for 47 years, arguing that such threats should be taken seriously.
Separately, The Wall Street Journal reported that some U.S. officials are concerned Israel shared intelligence with Washington in an effort to encourage a return to full-scale war with Iran.
