UK police arrest suspect amid series of attacks on Jewish community
The UK’s Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) arrested a 37-year-old man on Sunday over suspicion of planning terrorist attacks targeting the Jewish community.
In a statement, the police said the arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into attacks on sites connected to the Jewish community, as well as an attack on a Persian-language media organization.
“Since the attack on the Hatzola ambulances in Golders Green on 23 March, CTP officers have now arrested a total of 26 people,” the statement confirmed, noting that eight have been charged with arson-related offenses and one has been convicted of arson.
