Two senior Hamas officials arrested in IDF operation at Shifa Hospital
Israeli security forces arrested two additional senior figures as part of the special operation at Shifa Hospital in Gaza City: Hisham Tzarzur, Chairman of the east Gaza district in Hamas' Emergency Committee, and Diab Tatar, a senior member of the southern Gaza District Emergency Committees, a key figure in military intelligence.
The Emergency Committees are essentially branches of Hamas leadership that operate to coordinate organizational activities in humanitarian services but and are responsible for organizing terrorist activities, which including maintaining contact with Hamas operatives in the field, each in its respective district.
