Two killed in terror attack near Beit She’an, northern Israel

A combined ramming and stabbing attack carried out by a Palestinian assailant on Friday in the Beit She’an area left two people dead and two others wounded.

The attacker was identified as Ahmed Abu al-Rob, a 37-year-old Palestinian from Qabatiya in northern Samaria, who was in Israel illegally and used a vehicle belonging to his employer.

The assault began in Beit She’an, where he rammed a 16-year-old boy, lightly injuring him, before fatally striking a 68-year-old man. He then drove to the Tel Yosef junction, exited his vehicle, and stabbed a woman in her 20s to death.

The assailant continued toward Afula and rammed a 37-year-old man at the Ma’onot junction, moderately wounding him, before being shot and neutralized by an armed civilian.
